Slate Cheese Boards Platters Personalized

Slate cheese boards are perfect for serving cheeses, hors d'oeuvres, charcuterie, appetizers, sushi, meats, crackers and bread to pair with your favorite wine at any party or special occasion. Our slate cheeseboard serving platters are beautifully hand carved and engraved with your monogram or full name, making our serve ware a beautiful and unique wedding gift, housewarming or hostess gift, Christmas gift, bridal shower gift and more. Our slate can also serve as a slate trivet for your hot plates. This custom slate cheese board tray is a cool gift for the person, man or woman who has everything. Write directly on the slate cheese tray with soapstone chalk to mark each cheese on your platter for a special touch. Mined from the slate quarries of Pennsylvania and shaped by hand into 10x14 by 1/4 thick sized platters, our engraved cheeseboards feature a hand-flaked edge for a beautiful rustic appeal. Each Slate features clear, non-slip acrylic feet and is dishwasher safe. Food safe coating is used to seal the cheese board surface to help protect the slate from staining that might occur from natural oils in cheeses, meats and sushi products. Weighs 4 lbs. NOTE: please be aware that the edge of our slate cheese board is a rough cut edge. Minor flaking of the edges is to be expected with regular handling. Your slate is a natural piece of rock so variations in color and texture are to be expected and are completely normal. Like porcelain, your slate is very strong and thin, but can break or chip if dropped or hit. We suggest hand-washing and gentle handling. Your slate serving board is not oven or microwave safe. If you scratch your slate or your finish dulls, simply rub a thin layer of mineral or olive oil on it like you would a wooden cutting board to restore its luster.account
